Hello, Everyone.
In June 2013, President Obama announced the ConnectED initiative. One of the major aims of this initiative is to empower teachers and school librarians with next generation broadband Internet infrastructure, information resources, and relevant training that will enable them to take advantage of these tools in their effort to provide American children with the skills they need to get good jobs and compete in the global economy.
Using the link to ConnectED provided, review the details of the President's committment and post your thoughts as they relate to this initiative and how ConnectED and its resources might be helpful to administrators, library media specialists, students, and teachers.
